Login Pages for Research Studies

Is current?:
Yes

Sometimes, the researcher has  specified samples in mind, perhaps from more than one location or organization and participation in the study is not entirely anonymous and/or there is a need to merge study data with other data previously obtained from this sample, at an individual level.  In these contexts, the researcher would provide a code to individual respondents who would then use that to access the study via a common link.  This entry describes the basic details of how one can construct a login page for a research study and save the login userid with the data.
