The dropdown two columns template dropdown2cols.htm is a type of HTML form and is a variant of dropdown

Lines 27-31 display instructions. In this example we have two dropdown items, placed side by side in adjacent columns. This is particularly attractive if the items are related and, given the widespread use of widescreen displays, it is practical as well. Nested tables are used to achieve this layout. Each of the two drop downs is enclosed in a table. Each of these tables, in turn, are placed in adjacent data cells in one row of an enclosing table.  All of this is listed in the template file between lines 32 to 77. This approach can be extended to a 3 or 4 column format, if the material is capable of displayed in such a manner.
